Clarendon County offers residents endless recreation options, which can be enjoyed year-round thanks to the region’s temperate climate.
Golf at one of more than a dozen nearby championship golf courses. Take your boat out on the largest lake in South Carolina and enjoy the fishing, or the views—or sail straight to Charleston. Watch hawks, waterfowl, and an occasional eagle or Peregrine Falcon at the 15,000-acre Santee Wildlife Refuge, or go hiking or camping in one of the county's state and local parks.
