Clarendon County has more than a dozen championship courses nearby. Plus, Myrtle Beach and Kiawah Island, which boast more than 100 championship courses, are just an hour away.


Here are a few courses located right in Clarendon County:

 

Wyboo Golf Club (Manning) is an exceptional 18-hole championship course that is consistently named to The State newspaper’s top public courses list. The course is one of Tom Jackson’s signature designs. The signature hole, #13, is a 191-yard par 3 that plays to a large green, sloping right to left, with an oak tree and large bunker guarding the right and water on the left.

 

Shannon Greens (Manning) is a small and friendly country club offering a flat course with slightly sloped greens. The club also offers tennis courts, a swimming pool, and several fishing ponds.

The Royal Oaks Golf Club (Manning)
provides 18 holes of challenging golf for all levels of players. The course, surrounded by native foliage, was built in 1994 and was designed by noted golf course architect James Goodson.

 

Players Course at Wyboo Plantation (Manning)
Was designed to play in the shape of a circle. Located next to Lake Marion, including six pools, this course’s fairways were built on rolling terrain and are all separated by woods.

Foxboro Golf Club (Summerton), located on the shores of Lake Marion, is open to the public and features an abundance of wildlife.
